In the framework of developing bilateral relations with the United Arab Emirates state established in 1971, it was decided to open a representative office in the country in question and the Embassy of Abu Dhabi passed away on April 16, 1979.

On June 15, 1987, the Dubai Consulate General of Dubai, which includes Dubai and the North Emirates (Sharjah, Fujairah, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah, Ajman), was opened to service, taking into consideration the developing bilateral trade relations and the increasing number of citizens.

Our military attaché in our embassy in 1999; Our Trade Counsellor passed the activity in April 2007.

The building where the Embassy and the Consulate Branch are serving has been relocated on 1 March 2011 and the building is state owned.
