The history of our relations with Singapore dates back to the early 19th century. Our first Consul in Singapore was opened in 1864 and our first Consul General in 1901. Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Turkey on August 9, 1965 date established in the Republic of Singapore, which declared independence Feb. 12, 1969, our Embassy was opened on November 1, year 1985. Until 2004, our Embassy, which is located at 20 B, Nassim Road, has been moved to the present office, which is located at year 2, Shenton Way # 10-03, SGX Center 1.
Currently, our Embassy, which has Military Attaché (Accepted from Jakarta) and Commercial Counsellor, is serving with a staff of about 15 people.
