Diplomatic relations with the Republic of India were established in 1947 and our Embassy started its activities on 8 July 1948. Our Embassy, which consists of Politics Branch, Military Attaché, Commercial Counselling, Economic Counselling, Culture and Tourist Counselling and Consular Department, is located in the diplomatic district of Chanakyapuri in New Delhi.
