Turkey – St. Vincent Grenadines Political Relations
Relations between our country and Saint Vincent and Grenadines remain very limited due to geographical distance and the concentration of both countries on their territories for many years. However, more attention has been paid to the territory of Latin America and the Caribbean, which has gained momentum in recent years, the opening of new embassies in the region, the start of TIKA development and technical cooperation projects and establishment of institutional relations with regional organizations and other regional countries such as Saint Vincent and Grenadines as well.
Because St. Vincent and the Grenadines are a small island country, their foreign policy is shaped mainly by regional organizations such as the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) and the Latin American and Caribbean Communities (CELAC). Our political contacts with the country are mostly conducted through regional organizations which we have institutional relations with.
