Turkey – Political Relations with India
Turkey gained its independence on August 15, 1947 India immediately recognized and established diplomatic relations between the two countries. We have our New Delhi Embassy in India and Mumbai and Hyderabad Consulates.
Turkey, India is a growing economy, a large market, military power, its superiority in space and information technology, rich human resources owned, serves as a rich historical and cultural heritage with a progressive friend with sure steps towards becoming a global power countries.
Bilateral relations between Turkey and India are developing with mutual visits in recent years.
Mr. President made an official visit to India on 30 April – 1 May 2017. President of the Republic of Turkey in November 2008 in the period of Prime Minister, 11th President Abdullah Gul in February 2010 had an official visit to India.

In addition, on 15-16 January 2015, Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj conducted a study visit to my country.
