Turkey – Relations with the Republic of Cape Verde
Diplomatic relations between our country and Cabo Verde were established in 1979. political relations between Turkey and Cabo Verde is limited by being remain low and demand for mutual support in international organizations. There has not been a high level of official visit between Cabo Verde and our country.
In 2017, our bilateral trade volume with Cabo Verde was $ 5.2 million.
President Abdullah Gül, President of the UN General Assembly, held in 2008, met with President of the Cabo Verde Pedro Verona Pires.
Date December 16, 2011 held in Istanbul on Turkey-Africa Partnership Ministerial Level Deputy Foreign Minister of Cape Verde to the Review Conference of Jose Luis Rocha is provided with a delegation to participate in the presidency.
30 May-1 June 2012 between the Turkey-Africa Civil Aviation Memorandum of Understanding with Cape Verde represented in the Conference held in Izmir Air Transport Agreement has been signed and is initialled.
